Centre of the American Experiment President John Hinderaker says US President Donald Trump’s calls for a united Ireland sparked uproar. “I’m not sure why he felt the need to weigh in on Irish politics. But he said that unification is inevitable and they may as well get on with it,” Mr Hinderaker told News24 host Rita Panahi. “That set off an uproar. Pretty much everyone in Northern Ireland and Ireland, and Great Britain criticised him for it.”
