‘Outraged’: Residents forced to live near UK’s largest solar farm fume over soaring power costs

​News24 contributor Sophie Elsworth says the Graveney community, who live nearby the largest solar farm in the UK, are “outraged” that their bills have not come down. ​“Locals [are] annoyed at the implementation of this solar farm,” Ms Elsworth told News24 host Chris Kenny. ​“They have not seen their bills come down. ​“People are annoyed by the move to net zero and the fact that it’s not helping their hip pockets, as the government is saying that it should.”
