Trump posted a photo on Truth Social of a map illustrating the strategically vital waterway is now under US control. After declaring the waterway was “US territory”, Trump announced “no talks” were happening or scheduled with Iran, but that the Strait was “open”. Trump’s announcement comes one day following the end of the 60-day memorandum between the US and Iran, with no agreement to end the war reached.
