The 60-day Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to end the conflict between the US and Iran has expired. US President Donald Trump is placing new doubt on a potential agreement with Iran coming together soon. President Trump said in a post on Truth Social there were no talks going on currently or scheduled with Iran, as the US naval blockade remains in “full force and effect”. America’s regional allies in the Middle East are pushing the two nations to continue dialogue. The development comes as both Iran and the US remain adamant on the Strait of Hormuz and global oil prices reach the highest levels since July.
