Thousands expected to protest sale of historic Sydney military barracks

New South Wales Premier Chris Minns has appealed to the Prime Minister over the proposed sale of Victoria Barracks. claiming the move to sell the historic military monument is a cash grab. He says he's rarely seen an issue which has galvanised so many people for the protection of a particular site. Former PM John Howard, Labor MP Marjorie O'Neill, state Senator John Collins and Wentworth MP Allegra Spender are among those slated to address the crowds at 12:45 PM on October 25.
