Paris protests turn violent as authorities impose curfews and restrict gatherings

We are at the end of a demonstration, the only one that was allowed in Paris today. All other gatherings have been curtailed. There have been curfews in the city. They're rolling on tonight as well from 11 till 6 in the morning. It seems that this will go on for some time. More protests are planned for the weeks and months ahead.
