'They're left with nothing': Iran's leverage in US talks hinges on Hormuz

Former foreign minister Alexander Downer discusses the ongoing negotiations between the US and Iran as US President Donald Trump dramatically increases his rhetoric towards the regime. “The IRGC would like to do some kind of a deal, but the greater the leverage they have continues to be some degree of control over the Strait of Hormuz,” Mr Downer told News24 host Chris Kenny. “If they give that up, they’re left with nothing.”
