‘Target is going to change’: Iran’s power grids could be next attacked by US

Foundations of Defence for Democracies Research Analyst Janatan Sayeh says Iran can absorb the attacks from the US around the same targets, but US President Donald Trump sees his next escalation as destroying the power grids. “From Tehran’s point of view, they’ve seen Trump’s escalation only in terms of military,” Mr Sayeh told News24 host James Bolt. “Each step of the way, Iran violated that agreement [MOU] one way or another, which meant the United States had to escalate proportionately. “If they’re going to pursue destroying the critical infrastructure, particularly the power grids … that’s what Trump sees as his next escalation.”
