Spain imposes border controls on travellers from Italy

Spain has implemented border controls on travellers arriving from Italy for a month. The decision follows Italy’s introduction of similar measures a week earlier, after over 70,000 migrants crossed the border from Morocco into the Spanish city of Ceuta. Authorities say the temporary controls are intended to manage migration flows and maintain border security.
