Polling leads in red states give Democrats atypical sense of confidence ahead of midterms

Democrat lobbyist Niki Carelli predicts an atypical midterm election as Democrats lead polling in numerous traditionally red states. “It is pretty remarkable; things have actually changed quite a bit, even in the last month or so,” Ms Carelli told News24. ​“When we are looking at an election where Kansas and Texas are actually states that Democrats have a real chance at winning, then it’s clear that this is not a typical midterm.”
