OpenAI Medicare breach ‘deeply unhelpful’ to confidence of Australians

Former Labor senator Stephen Conroy says OpenAI’s Medicare data breach is “deeply unhelpful" to the confidence of Australians as artificial intelligence continues to develop at a rapid rate. ​“It’s like a steam train just running towards us at the moment,” Mr Conroy told News24. ​“It’s a huge international issue. ​“We need to have protections; we need to have the right regulations. ​“We’ve already seen the data breach, which is deeply unhelpful to the confidence of ordinary Australians.”
