Protesters gathered in New York following a shooting incident involving ICE agents during an immigration enforcement operation in the Bronx. According to the Department of Homeland Security, agents were attempting to arrest a man from the Dominican Republic with prior criminal convictions when they opened fire on his vehicle, with his five-year-old child in the backseat. The man sustained a non-life-threatening neck injury and was hospitalised, while the child was unharmed.
