NSW One Nation leader admits he ‘spoke out of turn’ at abortion rally

New South Wales One Nation Leader Mike Newman says he “misspoke” at an abortion rally where he claimed One Nation’s policy was to make sure “abortion is stopped”. “I poorly worded that. The One Nation policy is pretty simple: we’re against sex selective abortion and late-term abortion. That’s it,” Mr Newman told News24. “It's not about a blanket ban. “My remarks there in front of a crowd of 10,000 people, I guess I spoke out of turn. I own it. I sort of put that forward incorrectly.”
