‘Not something to be proud of’: Labor attacked for applauding the tanking of property market

​News24 host Rita Panahi attacks Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and his ministers for applauding the tanking of the property market. ​“Tanking the property market is not something to be proud of,” Ms Panahi said. ​“Anthony Albanese and his senior ministers have gone from denying that’s happening to now saying … it’s happening, but it’s a good thing, because it means housing is more affordable. ​“For the majority of Australians, their home is their biggest asset, and when you devalue that asset, you’re making them poorer. ​“It’s disastrous.”
