‘No legislation’ will pass if Democrats win House and Senate at midterms

Centre of the American Experiment President John Hinderaker discusses the final two years of US President Donald Trump’s term if the Democrats take the House and the Senate. “No legislation is going to get through,” Mr Hinderaker told News24 host Rita Panahi. “That’s why they’ve tried to pack everything into the One Big Beautiful Bill. “If Democrats take the Senate, that means that Trump won’t even be able to get appointments confirmed. So, for example, if there’s a vacancy in the Supreme Court, he’s not going to be able to get a Supreme Court nominee confirmed.”
