China should be ‘nowhere in the supply chain’ for Australia’s defence technologies

The Australian Foreign Editor Greg Sheridan reacts to the Australian Defence Force allegedly using China-linked anti-drone technology. “I think this is a very concerning story. We don’t know for sure that there's something wrong, but we don’t know for sure there’s not something wrong,” Mr Sheridan told News24 host James Macpherson. “The government and defence are doing their usual trick of not giving us any information at all. “This company seems to be re-badging Chinese technology; we don’t know that for sure, but that seems to be the implication. “If that’s the case, it’s insane. China should be nowhere in the supply chain for critical military technology we’re using to protect our most important combat assets.”
