‘Makes me angry’: Abdul El-Sayed’s self-comparison to Jesus sparks outrage

Activist and podcaster Adela Cojab is “angered” by the video of US Senate Democratic nominee Abdul El-Sayed comparing his policies to the actions of Jesus Christ. ​“In other clips I’ve seen, he talks about how Jesus said that we should challenge the wealthy. But there’s a very big difference between promoting charity and government redistribution,” Ms Cojab told News24 host James Morrow. ​”Listening to that clip made me angry … because if anyone compared themselves to Muhammad, it wouldn’t be as pretty.”
