‘Lying is nothing new’: TV host fires up at Albanese’s past comments refusing any tax changes

News24 host Paul Murray takes a shot at Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s past comments ruling out changes to negative gearing and capital gains tax saying “lying is nothing new” to the PM or the government. “Apparently the get out of jail free card was well more young voters will forgive us and they’ll vote for us, and if the young voters vote for us and the older voters don’t who cares, we’ll just win anyway,” Mr Murray said. “Lying is nothing new to this government, nothing new to this prime minister, nothing new to this political machine in the Labor Party that stands behind him.”
