Labor is ‘crazy’ for claiming rents go down amid interest rate surge

One Nation MP Barnaby Joyce calls Labor “crazy” for claiming rents are going down due to people being kicked out of their homes. “One of the tricks in modelling actually is that they [Labor] say your rents go down,” Mr Joyce told News24. “Why do they go down? Because people get kicked out of their houses and there’s less demand for housing. “This is crazy.”
