Chalmers' 'endless confidence' despite record high interest rates irking Aussies

The Daily Telegraph’s Tim Blair says Treasurer Jim Chalmers’ confidence is “jarring” as he continues to shift blame over the RBA's interest rate hikes. “Jim Chalmers, his endless confidence is jarring,” Mr Blair told News24 host Steve Price. “It’s bad enough that we’re copping interest rate rise after interest rate rise, without Jim Chalmers saying he has nothing to do with it. “What's the point of being in government unless you’ve something to do with a little thing called the interest rate?”
