Retired US Air Force Brigadier General Robert Spalding says the Iran war actually “started during the presidency of Jimmy Carter”. “I think we forget that the war actually started during the presidency of Jimmy Carter,” Mr Spalding told News24 Digital Presenter Gabriella Power. “The war was actually started by the Ayatollah and by the regime in Iran; it’s been conducted over decades against the American people and the rest of the free world.”
