'Infuriating': Controversy erupts as Catholic university includes Islamic prayer

Writer and broadcaster Esther Krakue weighed in on the backlash facing the Catholic University in Belgium after it included an Islamic chant in its opening mass. “Can they actually remain Catholic if they are entertaining other faiths, especially when the reverse would never be accepted?” Ms Krakue told News24. “These are the kinds of stories that would really infuriate people. “These kinds of one-sided, pointless gestures are always in the direction of faiths and organisations that would never do the same thing back.”
