If Trump can ‘inspire’ his fans then Republicans are likely to ‘hold the Senate’

Centre of the American Experiment President John Hinderaker says if US President Donald Trump can “inspire most of his fans”, then there’s a good chance Republicans will hang on to the Senate in the midterms. “If Trump can inspire most of his fans, who are not really that dedicated Republican voters,” Mr Hinderaker told News24 host Rita Panahi. “If he can inspire them to understand the importance of the election and to vote, even though he isn’t on the ballot, then I don’t think the midterms will be a bloodbath. “I think there’s a good probability that the Republicans will hold the Senate.”
