‘I’m worried about jobs’: Americans turn against AI as China race intensifies

News24 Contributor Kristin Tate warns Americans are right to be sceptical of AI, raising concerns about its impact on jobs, children and education while China races to dominate the technology. “I am sceptical of AI as are so many other Americans, and look, obviously President Trump is correct; we don’t want China dominating us in AI, but I think Americans are right to be sceptical of this,” Ms Tate told News24 host Chris Kenny. “Look, I’m worried about jobs; I’m worried about what this technology is actually doing to children and education.”
