Irony found in feminists’ performative response to Sydney Sweeney commercial

The Samuel Griffith Society Executive Director Mia Schlicht says feminists’ response to Sydney Sweeney’s advertisement is the “faux outrage” conservative women are “sick” of. “It really plays into this idea that these feminists are all for standing up for women, they’re all for strong women, they’re all for women who stand on their own two feet financially, so long as you are the right type of woman who fits into their category,” Ms Schlicht told News24 host James Macpherson. “Quite ironic considering they still can’t define what a woman actually is. "The feminists were after Sydney Sweeney ever since it was rumoured that she was a republican; they’ve turned their back on her ever since.”
