Government is providing cost of living relief in an 'ongoing and permanent way': Jim Chalmers

Treasurer Jim Chalmers says the Labor government is “providing cost of living relief” in a responsible way for the Australian people. “We take responsibility for managing the budget and the economy in the most responsible way that we can,” Mr Chalmers told News24. “We are providing cost of living relief again in a responsible and affordable, ongoing and permanent way. “We’re working very hard at the longer-term economic challenges that have been a feature of our economy for some decades.”
