‘Government engineered disaster’: As tobacco prices go up so does crime

Editor of The Daily Telegraph Ben English says the illegal tobacco war was “handed to them on a platter”. “This ridiculously moronic public policy of continuing to jack up the excise to a point where ordinary people couldn’t afford cigarettes, and they were given a price signal.
