'Future sanctions' on the cards if Russia not compliant with bio-disaster treaties

Political Journalist John Fund says “we need to be skeptical” following a pneumonic plague outbreak in Russia, arguing sanctions should be placed on countries not informing such disasters to the world. "The world has already got international treaties so that countries are supposed to report to each other so we can prevent the possible spread of disasters," Mr Fund told News24 Digital Presenter Gabriella Power. "If countries are not in compliance, I think we have to talk about future sanctions."
