Former Prince Andrew’s High Court win won’t impact ongoing investigation

A judge has ruled in favour of former Prince Andrew, deeming the search warrants that led to his arrest as unlawful. The ruling by High Court Judge Nicholas Hilliard stated that a significant error was made in the application for and grant of search warrants. Judge Hillard also clarified that despite the ruling in favour of former prince Andrew, the investigation will not be impacted and will proceed. “The fact that the search warrants were quashed does not bring the investigation to an end or mean that the whole of the investigation is unlawful,” Judge Hilliard said.
