Former NBA player Enes Kanter Freedom has filed a lawsuit against WNBA team Chicago Sky following his ejection from a game. Freedom was ejected from the Sky’s game against the Indiana Fever at Wintrust Arena after an altercation with Natasha Cloud. In a post to X, Freedom announced his lawsuit and argued his ejection was unfair, as he was “peacefully exercising my First Amendment rights”. Freedom cited the shirt he wore to the game, reading, “WOMAN noun, adult human female”, and mocked the WNBA for failing to define what a woman is. The former NBA player blasted the all-female basketball league for attempting to “silence” him and his defence of women’s sports.
