News24 host Peta Credlin condemns the Albanese government’s new $5,000 cap on veterans’ healthcare, warning it undermines the lessons of the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide. “The Opposition leader Angus Taylor has now formally written to the prime minister asking him to intervene and scrap the new $5000 cap, saying that the Coalition would support this move without reservation,” Ms Credlin said. “The cap is also at odds with the lessons of the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide. The Royal Commission made 122 recommendations. “There are better places to find budget savings than the healthcare of Australians who have worn our nation's uniform and the families that have supported them.”
