Country singer reveals Jelly Roll ‘knew’ fans would abandon him over attack on Trump

Country singer John Rich has argued Jelly Roll has taken a gamble on his fan base following his appearance on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live! ’. During an appearance on ‘The Benny Show’ with host Benny Johnson, Rich called out Jelly Roll for turning his back on his fans. Jelly Roll recently guest-hosted ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’, where he slammed US President Donald Trump and his administration. Rich argued that Jelly Roll’s fans will leave the singer because his political beliefs clash with their own. “Because you know when you make statements that are that hardcore and, to a large extent, counteractive to the presentation you've been making – you do understand in country music that half or more of your audience may disown you,” Rich said.
