Former White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney discusses Abdul El-Sayed's chances of winning the Senate election in Michigan. “He’s going to lose; he took a lot of people by surprise,” Mr Mulvaney told News24 host James Morrow. “The general consensus is that he is a dark, dark underdog for the general election in November against the Republican Mike Rogers. “Michigan is not a liberal progressive state; it is a fairly centrist state, and I think everybody would be really, really surprised if Michigan decided they were going to elect a socialist to the Senate.”
