New Victorian Premier pitches ‘new direction’ for Labor ahead of November election

Victorian Premier Ben Carroll has pitched a “new direction” for Labor ahead of the November election. “Under my premiership, never ever will there be a backroom deal done in a hotel room behind a minister's back,” Mr Carroll said. “I don’t want to be someone who builds statues of politicians.”
