One Nation MP Barnaby Joyce says his party will support the Coalition on confidence and supply in exchange for policy outcomes if the election leaves the parties short of a majority. “If the Coalition get close but are a couple of seats short and we have those couple of seats, they will get the support of confidence and supply as long as we get policy outcomes,” Mr Joyce told News24 host James Macpherson. “We want confidence; we want a solid removal of the socialists, which are the Labor Party. “What, of course, is the quid pro quo is if we get close as One Nation and we need a couple of seats, we expect the Coalition to do the same deal.”
