‘Almost came together’: Hanson and Canavan clash at Bush Summit

News24 host James Macpherson ridicules the bitter stoush between Pauline Hanson and Matt Canavan, arguing the conservative movement is undermining itself despite agreeing Labor needs to be defeated. “Okay, so Hanson would help the Coalition,” Mr Macpherson said. “So, they almost came together. And then, just as fast, they pulled apart. “Because nothing says united conservative movement quite like two conservatives arguing over who is more conservative. “Listening to Hanson and Canavan bicker about who is less like Labor first, I was almost inclined to vote Labor just to get some peace and quiet.”
