‘Australians are clearly very concerned’: Labor eyes migration cuts amid polling

NSW Independent MP Tania Mihailuk says growing concern over immigration is forcing Tony Burke and the Labor Party to consider reducing overseas migration. “Australians are clearly very concerned about immigration, and all the polling is demonstrating that,” Ms Mihailuk told News24 host Jaimee Rogers. “Burke and the Labor Party and certainly Albanese are very much driven by polling. “That is why I believe that Tony Burke would be now coming up with something. “This is becoming an issue with the Labor Party.”
