‘You cannot build them back’: Tennis club closure sparks government backlash

Liberal Waverly Councillor Michelle Stephenson blames the NSW Government for failing to protect a Sydney tennis club as an Aboriginal Land Council secures ownership of the community asset. “I think this is actually a New South Wales government problem,” Ms Stephenson told News24 host James Macpherson. “They did not ensure that this community asset would stay a community asset. “Once these community assets go, you cannot build them back. “It’s just not right.”
