Anthropic CEO to meet Trump over AI safety fears

US President Donald Trump will meet Anthropic Chief Executive Dario Amodei at the White House. The meeting comes after Mr Amodei called for the development of artificial intelligence to slow, warning of serious risks from increasingly powerful models. Ahead of the meeting, the president made clear the US is leading the technological arms race.
