Andy Burnham pushing for affluent areas to ‘absorb equally’ asylum seekers

Writer and Broadcaster Esther Krakue says the “vast majority” of asylum seekers into the UK are men. Ms Krakue told News24 Digital Presenter Gabriella Power that it’s “a bit odd” that the men didn’t take their families with them. “Now we have Andy Burnham saying that more affluent parts of the country need to absorb equally the weight of having asylum seekers and refugees.”
