Albanese government treated Bondi Beach massacre like a ‘natural disaster’

​Shadow Assistant Minister for Citizenship Dave Sharma says Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s Labor initially treated the Bondi Beach massacre like a “natural disaster”. ​“We had the worst ever terrorist attack committed allegedly by an Australian citizen, and by an Australian resident, against their fellow Australians on Australian soil," Mr Sharma told News24 host Chris Kenny. ​“Of course that should demand a forensic examination; of course that should demand that some lessons be learned. ​“The Royal Commission was intended to be the vehicle for that.”
