Albanese government expected to be re-elected despite One Nation's rise

Redbridge Group Director Kos Samaras says he still expects the Albanese government to be re-elected, despite the recent surge in support for One Nation in the polls. “It’s also all about where are those votes. Most of Labor’s primary vote, where it’s healthy, is all in the big cities. Particularly Melbourne and Sydney," Mr Samaras told News24. “Where One Nation is doing really well is regional Australia … and that’s also where the Coalition is having its own fight with One Nation. “So, if an election was held this week, I’d still expect the Albanese government to be reelected.”
