News24 host Peta Credlin raises fresh questions over Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s long-standing support for Marrickville Golf Club and the $6 million in taxpayer funding awarded to the club. “The Prime Minister today faced more questions, as he should, regarding his long-standing connection to the Marrickville Golf Club,” Ms Credlin said. “I am far more interested in whether the prime minister's decision to hand this club $6 million from taxpayers gave him, Anthony Albanese, a financial benefit. “You see what I was able to show last week is that the Prime Minister owns property right next to the Marrickville golf course. “Given how hard Albanese fought to save the golf club in the past, to keep the rare green space as parkland in inner-city Sydney, how much of that was about doing the right thing by locals. "How much of it was about increasing the value of the homes he owns that are a stone's throw from the course."
