Three sisters of former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan arrested: PTI

Three sisters of Pakistan’s former prime minister Imran Khan have been arrested. His PTI party made the announcement on social media platform X. Aleema Khan, Dr Uzma Khan and Noreen Khan were arrested in Lahore - the capital city of Pakistan's Punjab province. Their detention comes ahead of PTI's planned protest on 27th September to demand Imran Khan's release. He has been in jail since 2023 and is facing multiple cases on corruption charges.
