SNEF poll finds more than half of employers plan to freeze hiring despite improving business outlook

Circling back to our top story – More than half of Singapore employers plan to stop hiring and expect wage freezes or moderation in 2027, even as the business outlook improves. This is according to an annual poll by the Singapore National Employers Federation. CNA spoke with Kuah Boon Wee - Vice President of the SNEF Council for his insights on the survey results.
