A Singaporean man has pleaded guilty in a US court to one of the largest cryptocurrency thefts in American history. 22-year-old Malone Lam admitted orchestrating and leading a crime ring that stole virtual currency from multiple victims worth more than US$265 million. After the guilty plea, US Attorney for DC Jeanine Pirro said Lam "led an international network that preyed on victims through deception".
