Singapore has received its first internationally certified bio-LNG cargo, marking a step forward in developing lower-carbon energy alternatives. Brought in by Shell and SLNG, the bio-LNG has been verified as biomethane that came from sustainable feedstock. It's also tracked through every step, accounting for emissions at each part of the supply chain. Energy, Trade and Industry Minister Tan See Leng says Singapore must keep exploring different energy solutions as it works towards net-zero by 2050. He was speaking at an event marking Shell's 135th anniversary in Singapore.
