Singapore is taking the Formula 1 buzz beyond Marina Bay by turning the three-day race weekend into a 10-day tourism push. From Bugis to Orchard Road, off-circuit events are drawing in visitors — including those without race tickets — while giving businesses a slice of the F1 crowd. Since 2008, the F1 race has drawn more than 720,000 international visitors and generated over S$2.2 billion in incremental tourism receipts. Beatrice Yap reports.
