Noise, dust from North-South Corridor works expected to ease by end-2027: Jeffrey Siow

Most major structural works on the North-South Corridor that create the most noise and dust should be completed by end-2027, with roads and footpaths progressively reinstated from 2028, said Minister for Transport Jeffrey Siow in parliament on Tuesday (Oct 6). He added that some affected HDB rental shops have received rental rebates on a case-by-case basis, though as a "general principle", the government does not compensate stakeholders for project delays.
