More than 1,000 people gathered at Hong Lim Park on Sunday (Aug 16) to rally against plans to clear parts of Maju Forest and a forested area at Gillman Barracks for housing. The government had earlier said initial plans will be adjusted to retain more greenery, with fewer homes to be built.
